Obama writes absent note for student
Tyler Sullivan, the student who missed a class to attend Barack Obama’s speech at the Honeywell plant, feels he would be excused by his teacher for his absence as he has a handwritten note from US President itself.
According to reports, the fifth-grade student snagged a front-row seat and shook hands with the US president when he addressed his supporters. The President said ‘you must be missing school.’ Obama then took out a note pad and wrote Tyler an official excused absence note, complete with presidential signature.
"Mr. Ackerman - Please excuse Tyler... he was with me!" Obama wrote before he signed paper and handed it back to Tyler.
Perhaps this is not the first executive excuse Obama written since taking office.
In 2009, Kennedy Corpus missed class to attend a town hall with her father, who got an opportunity to ask Obama a question.
According to reports, when Obama was told about Kennedy’s situation, President scribbled a special note similar to what Tyler recieved.
