Over 100 hitmen arrested in Karachi: Malik

More than 100 hitmen have been arrested in the Pakistani port city of Karachi and all of them admitted to their crimes. This has led to the restoration of peace in the city, Interior Minister Rehman Malik has said.

The minister said on Tuesday an investigation team was going to be constituted to probe the alleged networks of banned outfits operating from jails.

Hundreds of people in karachi, Pakistan's major business hub, have died this year in ethic violence.
