A woman suffered critical burns after a man set her alight at an Australian petrol station on Tuesday, in a horrific scene that prompted the police to urge witnesses to seek counselling.
The middle-aged woman was stabbed before she and her car were engulfed in flames at a Melbourne gas station, with witnesses reporting that her alleged attacker told them to “let her burn” when they tried to intervene. “Victoria police are concerned for the welfare of the many witnesses to this morning’s incident,” the police said.

Thief steals caravan with owners inside
Canberra: A thief who stole a car with a caravan attached got away with more than he bargained for — as the two owners were in the back.
The Australian police said the couple, aged in their 60s, were picking up a new caravan from a dealer in the Adelaide suburb of Blair Athol on Monday around noon. While a sales manager was showing the couple some of the features of their new purchase, a thief jumped into their car as the keys had been left in the ignition and drove away. —Reuters

Woman sues Google for ‘misleading’
Melbourne: Google has been slapped with a lawsuit over incorrect directions on Google Maps by a Los Angeles woman for giving her “unsafe” directions while travelling interstate.
Lauren Rosenberg used her BlackBerry to ask Google Maps for walking directions to Prospector Avenue from Daly Street.
But the directions by Google Maps led her to a busy highway where she was hit by a car. Although she admits that her driver was driving rash, Google was also responsible for leading her onto the highway in the first place.
