Pak assassin discussed plot

Malik Mumtaz Hussain Qadri, the security guard who assassinated Pakistan Punjab governor Salman Taseer in Islamabad on Tuesday, has told investigators he had discussed the murder plot with his fellow securitymen, sources said.

“The accused has told us that he discussed the plot with his fellow security officials and had asked them to arrest him alive so that he could give his statement,” an investigator told this newspaper.
