Pak warns of threat to US mission
Pakistani intelligence agencies have warned that a banned organisation might carry out a suicide attack on the US embassy with an explosives-laden vehicle.
Two stolen vehicles, one belonging to an Army officer and another owned by the Pakistan Navy, could be used in the potential attack against the US embassy, Urdu daily Aaj Kal quoted unnamed sources as saying.

Washington, May 26: US President Barack Obama will deploy up to 1,200 National Guard troops to the US-Mexican border and request $500 million for enhanced border protection, an administration official said on Tuesday. The troops will provide intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance support, intelligence analysis, imm-ediate support to counternarcotics enforcement and training capacity until Customs and Border Patrol can recruit and train more officers and agents to serve along the frontier.
The funds will be used to enhance technology at the border and share information and support between law enforcement agencies as they target illegal trafficking in people, drugs, weapons and money.

Indians held for working illegally in UK
London : Twenty seven foreign nationals, including Indian citizens, have been arrested for working illegally following a major operation by immigration officials at a farm in north-west England.
During an intelligence-led operation at a company called Drinkwater Mushrooms, the enforcement team, supported by the Lancashire police, encountered men and women from India, Pakistan, Afghanistan and Nepal at Hampson Farm, Galgate, near Lancaster.
However, it was not clear how many Indians were arrested. Arrests were made for offences such as illegal entry, working in breach of visa conditions and overstaying permission to be in the UK. —PTI
