Pakistani judge grants bail to Christian girl
A judge has granted bail to a young, mentally challenged Christian girl accused of insulting Islam in Pakistan.
The decision by Mohammed Azam Khan on Friday could help defuse some of the uproar the case has generated.
The case has shown a spotlight on Pakistan's harsh blasphemy laws, which rights activists say are regularly used to persecute Christians.
However, it's unclear how the girl's poor family will be able to afford bail.
Khan set bail at 1 million Pakistani rupees, or about $10,500.
