PETA soon to launch its own porn site

PETA has started accepting sign-ups for its porn site, which is expected to launch in the near future.

The animal rights organization, which is known for using edgy marketing strategies to spread its message, announced last summer that it planned to reserve one of the new .xxx domain extensions.

It said the intention for the domain PETA.XXX was to create a 'pornography site that draws attention to the plight of animals.'

“We’re not quite ready to reveal PETA.XXX yet, but we promise that when we do, there will definitely be a real happy ending,” the site reads.

The splash page displays a signup for those interested in getting the news when the site is officially launched, the Daily Telegraph reported.

Lindsay Rajt, a spokesperson for PETA told XBIZ at the time that the site would include explicit images and the possibility of featuring well-known porn stars and personalities.

“You know we’ve worked with Ron Jeremy, Sasha Grey and Jenna Jameson before, so there is that possibility that we’ll have them on board again as well as other big names,” Rajt said.
