Russian tourists return from Tunisia
A total of 240 Russian tourists, including five children, have returned to Moscow on Monday after they had to cut short their vacations in Tunisia over the tense situation in the country.
The Boeing-767 which landed at the Domodedovo airport in Moscow on Monday carried Russians from Tunisia as well as Russian tourists from other popular sea resorts, primarily Hurghada and Antalya.
Most of them acknowledged that they did not see any emergency situations from their hotel rooms. "We were more concerned about our relatives in Moscow, because the latter were watching fierce clashes on the television," said a Russian tourist on his return.
About 100 Russian tourists are staying in Tunisia, the Russian Tourism Agency reported, adding that a Tunisia Air airliner will bring them to Russia on Thursday.
