Rome: A second under-age girl attended parties thrown by Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi, according to prosecutors who say they have proof he paid for sex, ANSA news agency said on Thursday.

The new allegations were contained in documents submitted to a parliamentary committee on Wednesday by prosecutors investigating allegations that the prime minister hand-picked prostitutes for wild parties.

Iris Berardi, described by prosecutors as a 'well-known prostitute', was under age when she visited at least two of Berlusconi's residences in November and December 2009. She was born in December 1991.

Berlusconi threw parties in Milan and Sardinia, the documents said, according to ANSA.

Prosecutors have already alleged that the prime minister paid to have sex with an underage girl known as Ruby. Using the services of prostitutes is not a crime in Italy, but paying for sex with an underage girl is illegal.

Berlusconi has denied ever buying sex and Ruby, whose real name is Karima El Mahroug, says they never had an affair.

The documents were submitted by Milan magistrates to bolster their demand for a special warrant to search various offices linked to Berlusconi.

Magistrates need approval from parliament to launch their searches because his offices are considered part of Berlusconi's domain as a member of parliament.

The parliamentary committee was meeting on Thursday to consider the magistrates' request.

In their initial 389-page document submitted on January 17, magistrates said they had proof of payments made by Berlusconi to escorts who were also put up in luxury apartments in exchange for sex.
