Series of attacks rocks Nigerian city Kano

A series of attacks that rocked Nigeria's second-largest city of Kano on Friday have killed at least eight people, including a suicide bomber, witnesses and sources said.

Three officers were killed in a suicide attack on a regional police headquarters, while three immigration personnel died in gunfire, an official said. A witness reported a local journalist had also been shot dead.
