Taliban militants torch 10 Nato oil tankers
Suspected Taliban militants in northwestern Pakistan on Saturday torched 10 oil tankers ferrying oil supplies for Nato troops in Afghanistan in, police said.
About half a dozen militants attacked a workshop on the ring road in Peshawar and torched the tankers.
The attackers overpowered guards and set fire to the vehicles.
There were no reports of casualties in the attack.
More than 170 Nato supply vehicles have been torched since early October and six people, most of them drivers, were killed in attacks.
According to official figures, 80 per cent of supplies for US and allied forces in land-locked Afghanistan are transported via Pakistan.
