Turkey calls for NATO meeting over downed jet: Report

Turkey has called for a NATO meeting over the Syrian downing of a Turkish fighter jet, a diplomatic source said on Sunday confirming a television news report.

Turkey called for the emergency meeting after concluding that the jet was downed in international airspace, the source said, adding that the meeting would be held on Tuesday.
