Two dead, 15 missing after ship sinks off China

Two sailors died and 15 were missing after a North Korean-registered cargo ship sank in strong gales in the Yellow Sea off China ON saturday.

Three of the crew were rescued after the Kang Bong went under off Lianyungang Port, in east China's Jiangsu Province, the Xinhua news agency said, quoting the rescue and Salvage Centre under the ministry of transport.

A rescue ship and two helicopters were rushed out to find the missing but gale force winds hampered the mission, the report said.
