London, Sep 21: Two children chose a partner online for their widowed mother after her dates through lonely hearts’ websites didn’t go off well. Their choice worked like a charm.

Ms Charlotte Morgan’s husband was killed in an aircraft crash. Her two children — Zoe, 11 and Will, 9 — pleaded with her to find them a new father.

Ms Morgan’s dating efforts ended in disappointment. The model-turned-businesswoman then joined another dating website and told her children: “This is a daddy shop. Pick one.”

Daily Mail reported that the children looked through pictures to see whether they had “nice smiles” and “kindness in their eyes.”

They zeroed in on Mr Guy Bolam, 44, a divorced father with a child. Ms Morgan, 41, went out on a date with him and hit it off. All of them are living together in Ms Morgan’s £1.63 million farmhouse in Essex, and Mr Bolam has asked the kids’ permission to propose to their mother.
