US high school coach resigns after showing porn to students

A high school coach in the US has resigned after he reportedly showed a pornographic video to students during practice.

According to Wicked Local Wellesley, Wayne Lem, the Wellesley High School volleyball coach, was trying to show the students video of a volleyball game but instead played 30 seconds of a pornographic video

A member of the girl’s junior varsity team said there were only a few students in the room at the time and as Lem tried to turn off the video, they tried to make light of the situation.

Another student said she thought Lem was embarrassed by the incident.

“His personality isn’t the type to make humour out of the situation,” theBostonChannel.com quoted her as saying.

Superintendent of Schools Bella Wong confirmed that Lem was not with the school anymore and said a new coach was already in place for the boys’ team.

Lem has also coached at Harvard University, Regis College, Boston College and Brookline High School.
