Yemeni security forces killed 20 demonstrators when they broke up a four-month-old sit-in in the
second-largest city Taez during the night, protest organisers said on Monday.

"At least 20 protesters have been killed," a protest organiser told AFP after security forces backed by army and Republican Guard troops drove the demonstrators out of Freedom Square in the city centre.
