Zardari hints at early polls, Opp. unhappy

Pakistan President Asif Ali Zardari on Saturday hinted that general elections will be held ahead of schedule, but the offer did not appear to be acceptable to the Opposition, who demanded that the polls be held immediately. Mr Zardari made the promise while addressing a joint session of Parliament.
