My tunes
Want a mix of Bad Romance with a Lavni twist? There is no need to worry. With the web providing free music mixing software, youngsters are now hooked to their snazzy computers. The software helps young people tweak their favourite tracks and infuse it with creativity.
The DJ mixer application, which is available online, is a huge hit amongst youngsters. “There are many software available online, and with all of them being free who wouldn’t mind experimenting,” asks Vibith Jain, a college student. And the biggest advantage seems to be, if you cannot find a number that you like, one can create it with an array of software options.
Some like Viraj Thacker are even turning amateur DJs, thanks to the option of synchronising many tracks to form one number. To mix two or more songs you don’t need to be a DJ, just download a few of such song mixers and experiment, says Viraj, who is a final year student. He adds, “Mixing two songs has now become easy, you just need a set of headphones, CDs of your favourite songs and you can blend songs according to your taste and then you are set to become the next DJ.”
If one option doesn’t work out, try another one, is the motto of these music lovers. Shiv Kothari, a class 11 student says, “There are many software available online like, Sonic Forge, Streamjack Music, Active DJ Studio and Audio Editor. The reason these software are a hit, is because every time you try, you will always come up with something new, and you just have to keep experimenting till you find the perfect tune. The best feature of such software is that you can always retrieve music that you don’t like and rework it.”
