Zac Brown create a music furore

Artiste: Zac Brown Band

If you love the strumming of Neil Young’s guitar or are a self-admitted Dylan addict, then the American country music has been one barren genre with no memorable music to speak of lately. Zac Brown Band, however, promises to be the musical tonic you’ve been waiting for. The band has bagged its first Grammy for the Best New Artist category.
Like most guitar-strapped teenagers, Zac Brown started out with a stage act in his high school years, playing to disgruntled country music fans during recess.

Brown later joined the University of West Georgia, only to drop out from college after two years. With inspired plans to engage in philanthropy and humanitarian aid, he spun off his first CD in the hope to raise some money for the fledgling non-profit Home Grown. While their production Far from Einstyne in 2004 had a different vibe, their next album Home Grown, was not too much of a craze. Starting on an all-American tour was just the thing that the doc’ ordered for the gang.
Chicken Fried, the title track, was first recorded in 2003 is very catchy. The song shot up to the number one spot on the Country charts at the billboards after its re-release, thus catapulting the band to be the second band to reach the top on their debut in 2008.
Zac’s lead vocals and guitar is what drives women crazy. The rest of the line up includes Jimmy de Martini on the fiddle, John Hopkins on the bass guitar among others.
