Bangkok Summer crew to be quizzed

The Muvattupuzha police want to interrogate the crew of the film Bangkok Summer in connection with their investigation into charges of cheating by UK-based business tycoon Joby George, who is the producer of the film.
The police want to question the directors of the film, Pramod and Pappan, and their associates, hoping to fill in the blanks about Joby George's history.
The police are yet to confirm if the actors too will be questioned.
The film released on July 22, 2011.
It starred Unni Mukundan and actors Rahul Madhav, Richa Panai and Sruthi Lakshmi.
Despite being a big budget film, Bangkok Summer bombed at the box office, according to reports.
According to the police, several business tycoons in the state and outside, who have partnered
Joby George in different business ventures will also be quizzed in the coming days.
The police are probing a petition filed by one George Mangalathu of Mudavoor, who has alleged that Joby and his wife Sinimole cheated him of Rs 2.47 crore after promising to get him admitted to the MBBS course in Newcastle University in the UK.
The police have also received a complaint from one Shyam of Dubai, who alleged that Joby offered to make him a business partner and took Rs 85 lakh from him.
Joby George, who has produced a movie in Malayam, is believed to own three hotels and nearly 30 grocery shops in and outside the English city of Newcastle.
