Unfurling the past, the present and the future of the Mullaperiyar dam, Justice K.T.Thomas has completed a book, Mullaperiyar Dam, Yesterday, Today, and Tomorrow.

It is complete with controversies and revelations about the century-old dam and the lapses on the part of respective governments.

The book has also a solution to the vexed issue.

The book was conceived after Justice Thomas took up the role as Kerala’s representative at the high level committee on the disputed dam.

His stand had stirred a hornet’s nest with various political parties flaying Justice Thomas for his statements.

The four-part book begins with the chapter ‘How I became entangled in the Mullaperiyar problem’. Justice Thomas recollects the situation which compelled him to get associated with the issue.

“Though I was happy to be part of the committee and do my work independently, the unnecessary controversy which followed, made me unhappy”.

“The book is my advice to the state government to take timely decisions and I have given solutions for resolving the issue once and for all”, Justice Thomas said. The book will hit the stalls within a month.
