CIAL golf course second phase to be over by december

The CIAL golf course is set to be one of the longest golf courses in the country by extending up to 7400 yards and expanding to 18 holes from the current 9 holes by December this year.

The ongoing second phase expansion works are being done spending Rs 12 crore which will make the CIAL golf and country club an all-weather golf course.

The first phase of the golf course was completed spending Rs 18 crore and with the completion of the second phase, the CIAL golf course will become the only one of its kind in the state to be able to conduct tournaments that are at par with United States Professional Golfers Association Tournament.

Four lakes in 10 acres and little mounts have been created in the lush green golf course while a fifth lake is being created in seven acres now, which will be the largest in the state. Even after heavy rains, play can be resumed at the golf course.

A golf academy and driving range too are being readied at the facility to allow practicing for learners.
