Ernakulam collector bereaved of son

Thaslin Sheikh, 26, son of Ernakulam district collector P.I. Sheikh Pareeth, died in a road accident at Krishnagiri near Hosur in Tamil Nadu on Friday.

According to sources, the car in which Thaslin and other two friends were travelling, collided with a tipper lorry at Krishnagiri on Thursday night. One of them died on the spot.

The three were travelling by a car from Chennai to Bengaluru when the accident took place.

Thaslin succumbed to the injuries by Friday evening. Thaslin was a software engineer with Tata Consultancy Service in Bengaluru.
