She shows the way in story-telling
“A positive attitude and our goals can be attained,” is what Hannah Alice Simon, a nine-year-old visually-challenged girl of Greets Public School, Kaloor, had to say after winning the second prize in the story-telling competition at ongoing state CBSE school fest here on Thursday.
Even the story she had chosen was that of a farmer and his mule which was all about the mule’s positive attitude in the face of death. And she left the audience spell-bound.
Hannah sings, paints and plays the keyboard too. She is the school champion in literary activities and wants to be a scientist or an advocate. Immediately after the results were announced, she congratulated the first prize winner Sameena Abdul Kalam of ToCH School, Vyttila.
The second day of the fest was dominated by Thrissur district with 1,560 points followed by Ernakulam with 1,363 points.
