Summer schedule has 4 new flights from Kochi airport

Four new flights to Singapore, Bahrain, Muscat and Hyderabad will fly out of Cochin international airport from March 25 when the summer schedule commences.

The new entrant, Tiger Airways, and Air India will conduct three services per week to Singapore and Muscat, respectively, while Jet Airways will operate a daily flight to Bahrain out of Kochi. In the domestic sector, Spice Jet will start a new service to Hyderabad daily.

During the summer schedule that extends till October 27, 180 international and 235 domestic services will be operated from here.

This includes the domestic destinations of Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, Agatti and Thiruvananthapuram and the international stops at Riyadh, Muscat, Sharjah, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Doha, Kuwait, Jeddah, Damam, Shalala, Colombo, Kuala Lumpur and Singapore.

Kuwait Airways, Qatar Airways, Emirates and Etihad Airlines operate connecting flights to various destinations in the US and Europe.

Similarly those wishing to proceed to New Zealand and Australia can reach their destinations via Colombo, Kuala Lumpur and Singapore.
