Venugopal takes charge as GCDA chief

Senior Congress leader N. Venugopal on Sunday took charge as chairman of Greater Cochin Development Authority (GCDA) at a function at the GCDA office here which was attended by senior party leaders, MLAs, MPs and former chairmen of the authority.

Union minister K.V Thomas, MPs P. C Chacko, Charles Dias and K.P Dhanapalan, MLAs Hibi Eden, Dominic Presentation, Anwar Sadath, V.P Sajeendran and Ludy Louis, former chairmen of GCDA G. Balachansdran, Joseph Thomas, PSC chairman K.S Radhakrishnan, mayor Tony Chammany, corporation councillors and other dignitaries attended the ceremony.
