Whether the world would come to an end on December 21 or not but parents who are expecting their first baby are in a hurry to give birth to their child on another special day: which is December 12 or interestingly 12/12/12, the last of the triple date sequence in this century.
According to the numerologists and astrologers, the babies born on this special day will inherit the qualities of planet Jupiter, a symbol of prosperity and wealth because of its formation with other planets in a typical fashion. A city-based numerologist Rohit Singhania said, “The babies getting born on 12/12/12 will have strong personalities and would nurture the possibilities of becoming a well-established person.”
The scenario is no different in city hospitals too. They are also witnessing parents making an attempt to give birth on this special day as the numbers are considered to be fortunate and likely to bring good luck to the child.
“Mothers who are supposed to have caesarean delivery this week are opting for tomorrow’s date and more such cases are fast emerging,” gynaecologist Ranjit Chakraborty of Woodland Hospital said on Tuesday.
Despite doomsday predictions taking a toll on people’s mind, the magical sequence of 12/12/12 remains the centre of attraction for expectant parents who are eager to bestow their children a date of birth quite easy to remember.
