Litfest organisers apologise for powercut

Facing flak for the power failure during former Pakistan cricket captain and president of Tehreek-e-Insaf Party Imran Khan’s programme at the Kolkata Literary Meet, the organisers of the event on Tuesday offered unconditional apologies to both Mr Khan and the people of the state. On Monday evening, after delivering a talk at the Kolkata litmeet auditorium on Milan Mela ground, when Mr Khan was in the midst of answering the questions of the media, suddenly the lights went off.
