30 years of Wrestlemania
The next WWE title seems to be picking up more pace with 2K ready to make their mark on the recently acquired franchise. After previously announcing their ‘legends’ roster alongside the superstars of today, they have now gone a step further to commemorate Wrestlemania XXX with a new game mode ‘30 years of Wrestlemania’.
Having worked closely with the WWE team to bring gamers the best possible retro experience of all the classic WWE moments over the past 30 years, the new game mode will feature detailed classic arenas and settings for fans to enjoy. Combined with vintage graphics and era specific designs they hope to bring back memories from some of the glory years of the WWE.
The new game mode will allow players to relive some of the greatest Wrestlemania moments with 45 playable classic matches. The inclusion of Hulk Hogan is a big plus for WWE fans.
Personally, I think WWE 2K14 is shaping up great considering everything that happened with THQ. The franchise seems to be getting a much-needed breath of fresh air from the annual road to wrestlemania mode and storylines with the addition of 30 years of Wrestlemania.
Giving fans a chance to relive some of the moments that made the WWE what it is today is a great way of winning over new fans and rewarding old ones. WWE 2K14’s full ‘30 years of Wrestlemania’ roster is set to be revealed on August 17.
