Adventurer to conquer silver screen
Bobby Zachariah Abraham’s passion to serve his fellow beings took him places. One can call him a biker, adventurer, traveller or somebody who lends a helping hand to the needy, and Bobby aptly fits all these categories; and his latest tag is a film actor!
The Kochi-based adventurer is an active participant in the activities of the CSI Rehabilitation Centre in Kodaikkanal and will be seen donning the role of a biker in Sameer Thahir’s Neelakasham Pachakadal Chuvanna Bhoomi.
“It was better late than never for me. I did my Engineering degree but realised that nerd material never gave me the kick,” he laughs. “I shifted gears to social service soon. I was in Chennai when I learnt that there was a teacher’s training course for children with special needs. I had no second thoughts, as this was exactly what I wanted to do,” remarks Bobby.
So how did cinema happen? “I was travelling to Leh Ladakh when I met Abdul who works with Sameer. He suggested me to Sameer and the rest is history,” smiles Bobby. “I had a great time working with a young team, and I was being myself in the movie,” he says.
