The dashing Ben Affleck, not only sported the sexy, shaggy beard in Argo, but retained a much well-maintained beard post the film’s release. Imran Khan went the fully bearded way for his latest release Matru Ki Bijili Ka Mandola. From the looks of it, bearded men seem to be the current flavour of the season. Here are the top three bearded looks that are a hit among men:

The Goatee: Stylish and generally neat, this look is more popular among the youngsters and a sureshot hit among the ladies — think Robert Downey Jr, a.k.a Tony Stark in Iron Man. The goatee doesn’t require elaborate hours of preening.

The French beard: The classic look which seems to never go out of style, the French beard is easy to grow, but takes a bit of work to maintain. Traditionally, the French beard is a full beard, minus the sideburns and a little hair below the lower lip, giving it a softer and a rounder look.

The full beard: A full beard is the safest bet for those who want to draw attention to their face. Best worn on those with a weakened jawline, the full beard is an easy option not just to grow, but maintain as well.
