Anil loses 9 kilos for Race 2

He may be four decades old in the industry but his quest for perfection is still young. The actor, who’s known for looking nearly half his age, says that this is the best time of his career.
While his contemporaries, like Jackie Shroff and Govinda, have taken to playing older characters in films, Anil is still in the reckoning for younger roles. After his Hollywood stint, the actor is gung-ho about his second innings in Bollywood that kicks off with Race 2 early next year.
Anil, who plays a detective in the film, asked for a trainer who would help him lose weight to get into his character.
“Anil was quite adamant on working on his appearance. He lost nine kilos and only then was he convinced that he was fit to play the part. I think that kind of dedication speaks volumes,” said the spokesperson of the film.
