App Krome to the rescue
You know this scenario, right? Your phone is kept some shady place around the house, perhaps with your kids, or maybe just under the sofa or something. And maybe you’re also working on your computer or stuff? Well, what do you do when you get an important notification there?
Even if you don’t lose it, what if you get a notification and immediately want it on your primary screen?
The solution is Krome
Krome is an app on both the Google Play and Chrome stores that you must install to both the target phone, and the computer. You can customise a specific class or type of notifications to be relayed to your computer. The app does a great job by taking text and icons from your phones notifications and bringing them on the screen. Even though there seems to be a slight delay, 5-7 seconds the app does its job pretty well. The most useful feature is probably the sms notification which pops up a window which lets you type in replies that are routed through your phone at no extra charge.
For those concerned about privacy the app lets you encrypt the notifications with an encryption key, though this feature is still in beta. It generates a code by default but you can change this yourself. Just put it in your device and computer and you are set to go. Krome is both great, and works, even though you might expect it not to. Get it now, if you’re into this stuff.
