Kristen and Robert’s reel love lasts forever, but reality is a different story

Kristen and Robert’s reel love lasts forever, but reality is a different story

Reports of Kristen Stewart cheating on Rob Pattinson are making headlines, with the news going viral online. While in most cases it’s the man who’s the bad guy when it comes to infidelity, time and again it’s the woman who strays.

An apparently perfect relationship, Rob and Kristen had been living together for three years and the heartthrob is said to be devastated to find out about her affair, with an older, married man. So can a relationship really be saved after such a disaster? Over to the guys...
DJ Hussain, feels a clean break is the only way to go. “If your girlfriend cheats, forget her and move on with your life,” he says. “I’ve been in this situation before and I think it’s no use trying to save the relationship. You can try to fix a broken mirror, but the cracks will always remain. Once your trust is broken, you lose confidence in the other person. Even if they change, you’ll always be insecure. That will lead to problems and in the end, it won’t work out. That’s my opinion,” adds Hussain.
Sandalwood star Vishaal Hegde points out, “If you really love a person, you wouldn’t cheat on them in the first place.” The actor says, “And if you’ve cheated once, who’s to say you won’t do it again? For most guys, I think the relationship would be over. But it really is a personal choice. If the guilty party wants to make amends, you could give them a second chance. Of course, you’d have to have a really big heart to do something like that.”
“When it’s the other way around, there is no sympathy for the guy. So why should there be any sympathy for the girl?” quips Nitin Kumar, a software developer. Public opinion aside, he says on a more serious note, “You never know how you’ll react in a situation like that until it actually happens to you. From what I’ve seen, love makes people accept things they would normally never accept. An ‘indiscretion’ would shake the very ground a relationship is built on, but it could still be hard to end it with someone you love. In the end, it comes down to how much both parties are willing to try to salvage the remains of the relationship.”

I want to begin with a little story that was told to me by a leading executive at Aptech. He was exercising in a gym with a lot of younger people.

Shekhar Kapur’s Bandit Queen didn’t make the cut. Neither did Shaji Karun’s Piravi, which bagged 31 international awards.
