Cricketer Lakshmipathy Balaji has finally made his relationship with model girlfriend Priya Thalur official. The couple got engaged in a private ceremony. Priya who has walked the ramp for national designers and is very popular on the Chennai social scene was often spotted with the cricketer and at the IPL dos. However, the couple always maintained they were just “good friends”.

But as soon as pictures of them started circulating, it was confirmed that there were in love as was speculated by all. Priya who was even spotted partying with Shah Rukh Khan is involved in many social causes and was recently seen running a marathon for the aid of underprivileged kids.
A source close to the couple says, “Priya’s family are very thrilled and Balaji has always maintained that she’s his lucky charm.”
The engagement that took place at Priya’s house had only close family and friends and no one from the cricketing circle.
