Banish the guilt
Chances are very high that you may have binged on New Year’s eve, but the worst thing that you could do now is to go on a crash diet to get rid of the guilt. Dieticians say that alternating between binges and sudden diets does more harm than good for the body. Instead, here’s what they recommend as the ideal diet after a night of hard partying:
Your body tends to lose moisture after all the merry making, so sip on a lot of fluids like lime juice, green tea, etc.
Ensure your meals don’t include excess oil, salt or spice. The best bet would be a clear vegetable or chicken soup with bread.
Since you need the energy, the first meal that you have should have carbs. Multi-grain bread with egg whites is a great option for breakfast.
