Beauty and culture of vibrant Vietnam

In the countryside of Vietnam, lotus flowers bloom in beautiful abundance. Dressed in bright colours, artists from Vietnam will dedicate a performance to the national flower of Vietnam, at the cultural performance of Vietnam’s Music, Dance and Song Theatre.

Organised by Indian Council of Cultural Relations and Embassy of the Socialist Repulblic of Vietnam, the performances will give the audience a glimpse of vibrant Vietnam culture. “From tuneful flute, romantic melodies, religious music, folk songs reflecting usual life, to celebrating the beauty of nature, the performances are multifarious incorporating not only civilisation styles of Hinduism and Buddhism represented in Meson Valley but also in the aesthetics of the performing arts,” says Suresh K. Goel, director general from ICCR. The closing performance by the troupe will symbolise the local people wishing for freedom and love.
