Saif Ali Khan may be the Nawab, but it is his little sister Saba who is the true powerhouse in the house of Pataudi. In contrast to her brother and sister Soha, Saba has chosen to stay away from the world of glamour, and those in the know say, this was the very reason that her father, the late Mansoor Ali Khan “Tiger” Pataudi, groomed her to supervise the considerable Waqf properties under his care.

In fact, in an attention-grabbing move, Tiger first named Saba as the potential “mutawalli” (custodian) way back in 2008. The Waqf properties Saba is custodian of extend from Bhopal all the way to Dubai. Saba is the first woman to hold the post, it is said.
Now doesn’t that make the deliberately low-key Saba a force to reckon with?
