Bollywood bites the bullet
Bollywood actors seem to be quite literally on target these days. With roles that require them to acquire a certain amount of expertise in handling guns, actors are going the extra mile and taking formal training for the same. Raj Kumar Yadav is currently being trained in operating heavy machine guns for his upcoming film Shahid. Kangna Ranaut, who plays a dacoit in the film Revolver Rani, says “Yes, I have been taking training to use a revolver. My trainer is teaching me how to hold the revolver, load and aim. It’s a one-of-a-kind experience for me. I didn’t expect revolvers to be so heavy.”
Raj Kumar has already undergone 15 days of training. He is also working hard to get the mannerisms of a gunman right. He says, “There are important sequences in the film where I am required to fire.” Saif Ali Khan and Gulshan Grover had to learn to assemble, load and use firearms of different kinds for their roles in Bullett Raja. Surely, the audience can look forward to some fantastic action.”
