Post the break-up Robert Pattinson has been putting up a brave face. But his interviews convey a different story. An interesting update is that Leonardo Di Caprio has come forward to help Robert get over the break-up phase. The Titanic actor has invited the Twilight star on an all boys’ trip to a secret location close to Puerto Rico.

Whether the trip helps Pattinson or not is a different story but the team is ready to take the sad phase head on! Ask the boys and they are all for it. “I don’t believe in crying about anything. The best thing to do is to go out party, watch movies, take off on a holiday and do anything that makes you happy. I have forgotten what a break-up is like. But yes, long time ago when I did break up, I got into my car and drove with my group of boys to Goa. I partied hard and that was the best thing that could have happened,” says filmmaker and model Karan Rao.
Getting dumped or dumping someone, the break up phase often leaves the guy lonely with no shoulder to cry on. Then the male ego comes into play when guys don’t want to shed a drop of tear. “The usual thing that most boys do is to get drunk,” says singer Avinash Chebbi adding, “The idea is to keep the person occupied and not let him be alone or mop over the issue, ideally an adventure trip or getting away from the city is something I would recommend.” But sometimes when the bonding goes overboard, it could drive friends mad and that’s something which has to be dealt with in an intelligent way.
“Guys are clannish. Particularly in such a situation, they go back to their best buddies who are usually their childhood friends. Recently a friend had a break up and was feeling very lonely, just to cheer him up we started partying every day. But he kept cribbing and missing his girlfriend. That’s when all of us sat down and took control. It’s good to have a good time but dude! You need to analyse and work with yourself. The escapist route is not the only way out,” says actor Purab Kohli. Whether they are called sissies or not, a break up definitely leaves a man bruised and battered.

I want to begin with a little story that was told to me by a leading executive at Aptech. He was exercising in a gym with a lot of younger people.

Shekhar Kapur’s Bandit Queen didn’t make the cut. Neither did Shaji Karun’s Piravi, which bagged 31 international awards.
