Celebration of life through myriad hues
“Kaavya” is the brainchild of a young city-based girl Attika Jain. It is an initiative to think differently with unconventional ideas and thoughts.
Talking about her upcoming exhibition, “Jashn — a celebration of Life”, Attika says, “We took cue from India, the mosaic like land of multiple cultures, religions, languages and practices. Here, celebration comes in all sizes and tonal renditions paradoxically highlighted with dogmas and orthodoxies, democracies and autocracies. We invited people from various backgrounds to interpret their volumes of what they see, believe, practice and share and be a part of Jashn.” The exhibition is a bricolage of myriad perceptions and visualisations, depicting moods and expressions of people. Aditya Vardhan Tibrewala, a young mathematician and a travelling enthusiast, who also likes to capture some abstract photographic shots shares, “My work that is a part of Jashn is a frame where I have shot multiple shades of yarns of wool in such a manner that it appears like a horizon with a sheer beauty of moon.”
Aakash Suri is another city-based painter whose work is a part of the exhibition. “I have zoomed inside the rose petals and the medium of my work is acrylic on canvas.”
The exhibition will be on display April 6 and 7 at Epicentre, Gurgaon
