Emraan steps into Dawood’s shoes

Director Milan Luthria’s forthcoming venture Once Upon A Time In Mumbai is already creating ripples in the industry, even before its release, due to the unconventional look of it’s characters.
The latest we hear is that Emraan Hashmi plays the character of the notorious Dawood Ibrahim in the movie, for which the director insisted on getting the perfect look. Alongwith Emraan and the stylist, Milan went through extensive research before deciding on Emraan’s final look in the movie. Insiders tell us, “Milan and stylists Manushi Nath and Rushi Sharma went through a lot of TV clips, magazines and extracts from movies before zeroing in on a look.” In fact, before the day of the final shoot, they decided to go for test shoot. “They started at 10.30 am and throughout the day they kept experimenting with Emraan. He was made to go through 10 to 15 changes, before making final a decision at midnight,” says the source.
