F1 merchandise proving hot sellers

As the dates for the India Formula One is approaching, racing enthusiasts in the capital are going gaga over F1 inspired merchandise. Fancy tees with racing cars and team logos are selling like hot cakes and youngsters are splurging on these memorabilia items. We find out what are the hottest merchandise topping the popularity charts among racing fans.
At Party Hunterz store in the capital, one can shop for colouful wigs, checkered flags and mugs with F1 prints. However, if you are looking for F1 tees then log on to inkfruit.com and order the special ‘burnout’ series shirts. Kashyap Dalal, co-founder, inkfruit.com, says, “Inkfruit has recently launched a collection of tees inspired from F1. We recently conducted an online contest and selected two designs for F1 shirts. These F1-inspired printed tees are available for `299. The designs echo speed and exhilaration that F1 as a sport stands for and are already getting popular among our customers.”
Siddhartha Upadhyay, CEO, Bunk House Retail, informs that he is expecting to sell more than 10,000 F1 tees this season. He says, “At our store we have already received so many queries for F1 theme tees and people have placed orders for customised tees. So far we have received 2,500 orders and I am expecting it will rise as the F1 racing event draws nearer. We are manufacturing hand-painted F1 inspired tees which are priced between `600 to `1,800. It is available in our stores and has got a good response from racing enthusiasts in the city.”
