Farah set for a new ball game
Charming Farah Khan knows how to don different caps and have all the fun. After being a sought-after choreographer and a successful director, and then her acting stint in Shirin Farhad Ki Toh Nikal Padi, Farah is all excited about her new association with the IPL now. The IPL fervour has left Farah completely engrossed as she tutors the cricket lover of the country to dance to a four or a six, with her latest choreographed Sirf Dekhne Ka Nahi campaign.
We recently caught up with Farah who was in the city to promote Ariel Color & Style. Talking about her newly discovered love for the gentleman’s game, Farah said, “Honestly speaking, I am not a sports freak. I like watching IPL because of its short format and obviously the glam quotient attached to it. IPL’s become a huge brand with its unique entertainment value.”
Farah, who will be directing actor Shah Rukh Khan for the third time in her next venture, Happy New Year, can’t contain her excitement. “It’s going to be the one biggest movie of our careers in terms of scale and production. We will be working together after a very long time,” she says. Her kids must be curious about their mother getting all the attention? “Yes, in fact they ask me all sorts of questions, which I answer with honesty. Initially, my son used to get intimidated by the presence of media around but now, they are getting used to it and infact, they even wave and smile at the fans and media,” shares Farah.
