Farmer’s suicide woes retold

Why did you write a book on farmer suicides?
I have always written books dealing with political issues and with farmer suicides in Maharashtra becoming so common I decided to find out about their plight and the reason why they did not want to live.?

Tell us a little about the story.
The story is broken into two bits with one based in a rural village and the other in an urban city. while the put man tries to work really hard to get out of his situation, the son of the politician, the city boy looks at him thinking why he us trying to run away from his reality.

Is this a sequel to the other two book s that you have written?
Yes this is a sequel to my other two books, but only in the topic which they deal with.
Have you picked up one politician or is it a characterisation of several?
It is a characterisation of several people together but you can identify with both the characters.

What’s next for you?
There is another book that I’m planning to write which will be based on corruption. I know it’s a topic done to death but I’m hooping to explore out in a different way
