Convinced by friends, when Aakansha Goel, a resident of Punjabi Bagh joined sessions of Bollywood cardio, the energy levels involved in the dance form surprised her. “It’s like doing aerobics. But aerobics with a lot of energy involved. I didn’t feel tired at the end of the session, instead felt more energetic. As you follow the beats you also get to enjoy the music. Aerobics with its regular beats on the other hand, can get really boring at times,” says Aakansha.
And if you’re still thinking what makes Bollywood dancing much more fun than the otheres, it’s time to take a class and experience.

And when you do it while dancing to Bollywood songs, you just enjoy it more. Initially, it was difficult for me as this dance form is really fast and often I would forget the steps, but now it’s like my dose of entertainment. It’s fun dancing together to the beats,” she concludes.
