A tattoo can represent what you stand for. So be careful when you choose one so that it conveys the right attitude. If you are getting an arm tattoo, for ins-tance, it means it will be visible to everyone, so there is absolutely no margin of error here. So for all those who are not afraid of the thought of needles on skin, here are a few suggestions for getting that design right.So what are the recent trends in tattoos?

“Tribal designs used to be very popular but now men are trying out Polynesian tattoos, which are designed to express bravery and fighting spirit. It has warrior symbols, sharp objects like spearheads and arrows,” says Naveen, a tattoo artist based in Chennai. Women usually go for butterfly designs and nowadays, men do so too. “There are many cool butterfly designs which men can try out,” says Naveen. Names of dear and near ones, especially those of girlfriends and wives, are still trending.
“I get more than 70 requests every month asking for the same despite lecturing against it,” Naveen says with a laugh. “Tatoo your girlfriend’s name only if you are very sure of the relationship,” he adds. Tatoos covering the entire arm are also popular these days. So what is stopping you? Get some stylish ink on your skin!
