Heroine is finally here

Madhur Bhandarkar’s much talked-about film Heroine has been a controversy magnet right from day one. The makers put an end to all the waiting finally by releasing the first two posters of the film yesterday. At 5.45 pm on Sunday, Madhur uploaded the first poster of the film and his tweet read, “Presenting the 1st poster of Heroine to all my well wishers. Hope you like it.”

The poster is not as risqué as the film is rumoured to be, with the censors giving it an A-certificate. Also, the film’s male lead Arjun Rampal is conspicuous by his absence on the poster. “One might argue that Heroine is a female centric film and that Arjun is not needed on the poster. But then even The Dirty Picture was female centric but its poster had all the three male characters,” says a source.
So are the rumours of an Arjun-Madhur tiff true after all?
