He acquired the not-so-flattering title of “serial kisser” at the very start of his career but Emraan Hashmi used it to his advantage and survived his initial years with a bold and brazen image. But a slew of intense character roles topped off with box office success seems to have changed all that.
“It’s different when you are in your 20s. Late nights, fast cars — I have had my share of fun. But now I have sobered down. I want to spend quality time with my wife Parveen and my two-year-old son,” he confesses.
Despite a tag as bold as “serial kisser”, surprisingly he hasn’t been linked up with too many women in the industry.
“I might have had a serial kisser image, but that doesn’t mean I go about kissing women in real life. The image is strictly onscreen,” says the actor. He also insists that he is a very private person, contrary to his image.
“I hang out with very few people outside my family. In my life, there’s no smoke, and hence no fire either,” he laughs.
