‘I love to entertain’
She’s one of the prettiest faces that’s ever appeared on television but that’s not all. Anusha Dandekar, actress/ singer/ VJ, has now recorded a single, Better than your Ex. The international debut of this track is most likely going to be much sought after, not just in India, but abroad too. Anusha says, “It’s very pop and peppy. I just want everyone to be able to dance and sing along to my first track. I’m sure everyone had an ex, so they’ll be able to relate.”
Considering she’s been a widely known face in the TV industry for quite sometime and also tried her hand at acting in movies and singing, Anusha is an ideal example of someone who lives life to the full. “I take everyday as it comes. And the opportunity came. I love to entertain and this was a perfect way to do that.”
When asked about figuring in “India’s most beautiful” list published by a popular magazine recently, she says, “I think beauty comes from within!”
Anusha says that she’s learnt a lot from being in this profession. “Because of this industry, I have learnt a lot. Hair, make up, travel and costume changes are a constant and these require a lot of patience.”
Her mantra is to try her hand at everything and break the monotony. “I’m commitment phobic so I don’t end up doing anything full time,” she says.
Anusha believes it is very important to pursue one’s dreams. “If it makes you happy then pursue it. That goes for anything in life. The glitz and glamour are all secondary, there’s a lot of hard work that comes along with it. So if you’re ready, show them what you’re made off,” she signs off with a flourish.
